Erin Haxton, DVM
Dr. Erin Haxton graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Animal Science in 2007 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Oklahoma State holds a special place in her heart and she loves rooting on the Cowboys! Along with her husband Robbie and a group of friends, they travel back to Stillwater every home game during football season to tailgate. During away games or if they can’t make it to Stillwater for a home game, you’ll find them at a sports bar/restaurant wearing bright orange. After graduating, Dr. Haxton worked in a small animal walk-in clinic in Oklahoma City. She is grateful for the experience this fast paced clinic gave her when she was first starting out her career. In 2012, Dr. Haxton and Robbie moved to Bartlesville where she joined Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic. The staff of Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic along with the citizens of Dewey, Bartlesville, and the surrounding area have made the Haxtons’ feel very welcomed and at home. Dr. Haxton has special interests in Preventive Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. She loves educating clients about the importance of preventive health care to help their pets live the longest and healthiest life possible. The human animal bond is something she finds very important and she loves seeing her patients grow along with their owners. Her husband Robbie is a sales representative and they have been happily married since 2010. They currently have 2 cats, Orion and Pistol Pete. Orion is a rescue that wondered up to the clinic where Dr. Haxton worked while she was still in high school and Pistol is a rescue that wondered up to the clinic where she worked in Oklahoma City. They had to say goodbye to their first dog Kaidance in November of 2017 due to liver cancer. This was one of the hardest things they have had to do. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling with friends and family, reading, and going to concerts/plays. One of Dr. Haxton’s favorite memories was being able to go to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and watch the USA women’s team gymnastics win gold! Dr. Haxton is a member of the OVMA and AVMA. She looks forward to meeting you and building a relationship with you and your beloved pets!

Hello! My name is Amir but my friends call me Mir Mir. I am the resident KING kitty of Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic. I came to Arrowhead December 7th 2017 and decided to stay because they had an opening for an office manager kitty. Even though I am over qualified, I decided they couldn’t make it without me. I love to spend my days sitting in the doctor’s office or looking out the window. My favorite past time is licking bubble wrap or other plastic objects. I enjoy being scratched but watch out, because I will swat or bite you if I don’t like how you are petting me. I do not like being brushed, but my humans make me because office dress code requires my hair to be matt free. I have polycystic kidney disease and a heart murmur so I appreciate the good care the veterinarians and assistants at Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic give me. When you stop by, you might spot me in the window or sneaking around the corner of the exam rooms!
