We feel that pet healthcare not only involves providing medical care for pets, but also includes providing support for their human counterparts and the community we live in. Local fundraisers, sponsoring community organizations, and providing educational opportunities are a few of the ways we give back to our community. Our staff looks forward to entering a float in the Dewey Christmas Parade each year and seeing all of the citizens smiling faces. We do our best to be a part of the wonderful community and culture that surrounds us.
Washington County SPCA
Year round, Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic offers help both professionally and financially to the local Washington County SPCA. Our love for animals goes beyond the walls of the clinic. Over the years we have donated needed products and supplies. We perform spays and neuters for shelter pets and provide a free exam to all newly adopted pets.
Bartlesville Career Exploration Program
We are a proud partner of the Bartlesville Public School District’s Career Exploration Program since 2017. Bartlesville High School seniors selected for the program are partnered with local businesses and organizations to help students learn about and gain introductory experience in their chosen fields.
We are a firm believer in the education of our youth. There is nothing more important than our future generations. This program helps students gain insight to their potential career choice, a decision that will impact their entire life. If we can help one student gain confidence in their decision, it makes this program worth it.
Bartlesville Chamber of Commerce
Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic is an ongoing member of the Bartlesville Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber works to move the community forward in the areas of business climate, quality of life, economic development and tourism. This is possible by harnessing the strengths of the entire Chamber membership to accomplish tasks one individual or business could not do alone.
Western Heritage Weekend
Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic is a sponsor of the Annual Dewey Western Heritage Weekend. There isn’t a more fun, family friendly event around and we are proud to be a part of it. If you haven’t attended this event we encourage you to check it out!
Dewey FFA
The FFA helps shape our future generations by teaching the importance of a good work ethic, enhancing public speaking skills, properly caring for and performing financial planning for the student’s animals, and so much more. Education is one of the cornerstone values of Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic and we are proud to sponsor such an important organization.
