If you find a lost pet, you may bring them to Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic for us to scan for a microchip. This service is free and the first step towards reuniting the pet with their family. If the pet has a microchip, we will enter the number into the Pet Microchip Lookup to determine the manufacturer. We will contact the manufacturer who will identify the pet parents by the microchip number. Once the pet parent’s information has been retrieved, the manufacturer will contact them with the news their pet has been found and make arrangements to reunite them. Words cannot explain the joy and relief that is felt when a pet is reunited with their family.
