Arrowhead Veterinary Clinic Coronavirus Policies and Procedures
Effective Monday March 23rd until further notice
VISITS AND APPOINTMENTS
In coordination with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have adopted a “curbside check-in” protocol to facilitate social distancing. We will take our patients into our hospital while asking you, our clients, to remain outside.
- We have chosen to keep our door locked to minimize accidental walk-ins.
- When you arrive to the clinic, please call us from your vehicle or knock on the door to notify us of your arrival.
- A veterinary assistant will come to your vehicle to gather your pet.
- We will communicate with you via your cell phone during the appointment while you wait in your car. If you do not have a cell phone, you may return home and contact us via your landline.
- Once your pet’s visit is finished a veterinary assistant will return your pet with any medications or treatments and collect payment.
- Please make sure your pet is either in a carrier or on a leash.
- There will be no fees if you wish to cancel an appointment
- If you are coughing, sneezing, have a fever, sore throat, or any flu-like symptoms AND have a sick pet, please call us for further discussion.
TELEMEDICINE APPOINTMENTS
If you are sick or would prefer to stay home, we will be providing telemedicine appointments via the AirVets app on your cell phone. Please follow the links below to download.

- We will give you instructions as to where to pick up your supplies at the time you place your order. Note that this service will be offered during normal business hours only.
- Any items purchased and not picked up by the end of the day will be brought inside and kept inside until we hear from you with updated pick-up information.
